Fred Brito aka Gomez de Maria aka Max Gomez. |
Brito was recognized by a tipster who saw him dining at a nearby Benihana on multiple occasions.
Shortly after he was hired, reviews popped up for the hotel specifically applauding "Max Gomez" from accounts that had just been created, and reviews of only the hotel and adjacent restaurants... including the aforementioned Benihana.
As of this writing, we still believe Brito is still working at the Wingate hotel, so check in at your own risk.
Was Fred Brito the King of Cleaning?
A source reports that over the summer Fred Brito (who he has known casually as Gomez) had boasted to acquantainces about doing a lot of traveling while working for Jani-King, a Dallas based cleaning services company that has franchises nationwide.
Multiple attempts to confirm if Brito is currently employed by Jani-King have gone unanswered. If their website's claims that they "value extensive background checks" are true, it could simply be that Brito was hired totally legitimately using his legal name and real resume, or that he was never hired in the first place.
"We provide you with a sense of security and trust, with a comprehensive insurance policy, dishonesty bond, and value extensive background checks," their site reads. "You can trust your keys to Jani-King."
Again, it shocks this blog that someone using a fake name, resume, and other credentials can obtain positions where they have . Whether its credit card and other personal info provided by customers checking into a hotel, room keys, or overnight access to buildings that need cleaning.
This person, whatever his name is no longer working at the Wingate Las Colinas.
ReplyDeleteWyndham has not replied to any of my inquiries, and I can't update without official confirmation. (also... how can anyone be sure if they haven't rehired him under another name?)
ReplyDeleteEstoy viendo en éste momento en Discovey la vida de Fred Btito, estafador de lo peor, que vergüenza de "hombre"
